I grew up with Steve in Marinwood. He was a great guy who was funny and the king of basketball at Mary E. Silviera elementary school. I think about him everytime I visit home.

Vince is right, Steve was a great guy.. You never wanted to get in a handshake contest with Steve. It didn't matter how big or strong you were, he would crush you. Then there was the "gotcha" smirk on his face afterwards while you were recovering. Yes, I learned the hard way and was stupid enough to come back for more a few months later...
Sorry you're no longer with us.

Steve was a great guy, and it warms my heart to see him fondly memorialized by our class like this. It was an honor to have known him!!!

I met Steve in fourth grade and I'll always remember the crazy handshake contest and the look on Steve face after he would kick my butt . Lots of laughter and good memories . For those that knew Steve he's in Heaven RUNNING his you know what off . Take care buddy .

I have thought of Steve many times over the years.  I pray he had a good life, and that he received the kind of laughter and joy that I remember about him.  And yeah, now who is gonna shake his hand??? Mine aches just thinking about that.  RIP Buddy.
